2006 vintage:
The 2006 harvest was one of the earliest on record in Victoria, approximately 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Summer was extremely hot. A demanding growing season led to even flowering and fruit set across all varieties. Denser canopies were essential to maintain less exposed fruit characteristics. Handpicking was essential for the fruit quality to be assured.
Viticulture:
Attention to vine site location, based on variety preference, canopy management, low cropping levels and hand picking have resulted in our premium Train Trak wines, displaying intense varietal flavour and elegance.
Maturation and Vinification:
The fruit was pressed and fermented with yeast.. 60% was matured in seasoned French barriques for 6 months and no malolactic fermentation was employed. Lightly oaked.

Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia
Grape varieties:
100% Chardonnay fully estate grown and hand picked.
