Season - Very good

Colour - Excellent, a vibrant brick red with no dulling or browning

Nose - Distinctly Hunter, with leather and earth floor tones, but still displaying good primary fruits of black cherry and raspberry, coupled with sweet cedar and cigar box aromas.

Palate - Savoury, stylish and youthful, the tannins have settled down considerably on this wine - now fine grained and chewy. Primary fruits of blackberry are still evident, but beginning to give way to more complexed bottle development. Remarkably good drinking at present considering in its mid life phase, this wine will of course improve further and drink magnificently in another 3-5 years+.
