Moorea45 - The Transom

The transom was a very interesting part. In essense the plans were wrong and I couldn't get the frame to work. At this point I was fairly determined to resolve this myself but after months of trying probably 4 different ways I finally contacted the designer who sent me a flattened version on CAD. I immediately found the problem; the plans I received called for an eight metre radius whereas it was changed to six metres and the change not documented - c'est la vie!

I set the measurements from the CAD but got them confirmed by the boy's maths teacher. I think he was a bit chuffed that his figures got used for real.
